Facebook Account Center
Nowadays, everyone seems to have multiple Facebook and Instagram pages. In addition to our personal pages, many of us have business pages, hobby pages, client pages, and more. It can be dizzying trying to keep them all in order and frustrating to shuffle between them all. This is where Facebook’s Account Center comes in!
The Facebook Accounts Center is a more simplified hub for the everyday user who doesn’t need all of the bells and whistles of the Meta Business Manager or Business Suite, but would still like a streamlined management system for multiple pages. Accounts Center helps organize and consolidate all of your pages into one place and allows you to switch between Facebook and Instagram accounts without navigating to your phone’s home screen, multitasking menu, or app drawer. It also allows you to see a count of all your notifications in one place.
Once you’ve added your pages to the same Accounts Center, you can manage and play with a variety of different options such as:
Sharing posts, stories or reels across your Instagram and Facebook profiles.
Logging in to multiple accounts with a single password. You can also choose to maintain separate login info for your Instagram and Facebook accounts if necessary.
Using Meta Pay across Facebook and Instagram. Including viewing all transactions made across both platforms. This is one of Accounts Center’s biggest strengths and the key focus in Facebook’s introduction of the hub.
Syncing your accounts together in this way allows both platforms to better personalize your user experience in ways that grow your network. By using information on the accounts, topics, and businesses you interact with, Accounts Center can suggest additional pages you may never have discovered otherwise, show you more relevant ads, and show you how people interacted with content you created. It’s a very useful tool. Want to try it out? Adding accounts is easy!
To add accounts to Accounts Center from your mobile app:
On your iPhone, open the Facebook app.
In the bottom right of Facebook, tap Menu.
Scroll down and tap Settings & privacy, then tap Settings.
At the bottom, tap Accounts Center.
Tap Accounts.
If you don’t have any accounts added to Accounts Center, tap Add Accounts and follow the on-screen instructions.
Add accounts to Accounts Center on your computer:
Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
On the left, scroll down and click Accounts Center.
Click Accounts & profiles.
Click Add accounts and follow the on-screen instructions.
It must be noted however, that as convenient as Accounts Center is, it does not replace Meta Business Suite or Business Manager when it comes to tools and accessibility for most businesses. The easiest way to distinguish the three in the most basic sense is to remember that Account’s Center is best suited for the individual or smaller biz who needs a more streamlined approach to multiple-page management or cross-platform posting, engagement & payment options. Meta Business Suite is best for unifying all of the social media communication for a business with their followers, including interaction on posts and private messages, as well as boost setup and controls. Facebook Business Manager on the other hand, is meant to manage a business’s assets to ensure that business is set up properly and following the best practices of Facebook. It also provides the broadest options for launching your ads. It also is only available via desktop; mobile management with Business manager is not available. So be sure to choose which hub best matches up with your goals.
That’s it! Now that you’re on your way and learning the ropes in Accounts Center, be sure to explore the options and set-up your sharing options, as well as your syncing options, and Meta Pay options if you have that tool available. It’s all at your fingertips and easy to use!
